Here is a quick update on work to take place in Manotick in 2010. Specific dates are subject to change, but overall, the work is expected to carry forward as presented:
Pump Station
Pump Station facility: Initial testing and commissioning is commencing. We are expecting that the pump station will run before the end of June.
Site Landscaping, asphalt, etc. will take place once the station is in operation.
Hillside Gardens
Landscaping work to begin as soon as weather allows, and as soon as sod and top soil material will be available. This should be between May 1st and June 30.
Sewer, Water, and road reconstruction work to take place on Hartwell between May 1st and June 31st.
Sanitary Sewer Service to the St-Leonard School to take place in July and August.
Manotick Core
Landscaping work to begin as soon as weather allows, and as soon as sod and top soil material will be available. This should be between May 1st and June 30.
Sewer and road reconstruction work to take place on Ann Street, Beaverwood Road, Scharfield Avenue, and Doctor Leach Drive, between mid-April to end of June.
Final asphalt lift will take place on all road that were paved last season except for Bridge Street and Main Street between Bridge and Bankfield since the final asphalt lift on those 2 segments was completed last year.
